Get ready, Spartacus Fans! Season 3 of Spartacus, called Spartacus Vengeance, is set to premier on January 27, 2012, on STARZ. The first episode is called Fugitivus. In this episode, Spartacus realizes what’s ahead for him as well as the consequences involved now that he has become the leader of the slaves that he gave freedom to.

Liam McIntyre replaces Andy Whitfield who became an instant star in his role of Spartacus. Andy passed away from cancer in September 2011. Liam has some really big shoes to fill, but from the sneak previews we have seen, he is going to do just fine.

The other cast members of Spartacus Vengeance include Lucy Lawless as Lucretia, Manu Bennett as Crixus, Peter Mensah as Oenomaus, and Nick Tarabay as Ashur. Dustin Clare will return in his role as Gannicus from Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.

The big question: Is Spartacus Vengeance going to be on Netflix?
It doesn’t look that way as it appears the agreement between Nextflix and Starz is going to expire at the end of February 2012.
